Testing PTP the Right Way

Why pulling the PTP cable isn't enough; test GPS failures too.
It's really important to understand the priorities, the clock class, and how to set up a proper network and how to test that network.
You do need to test not only just removing PTP, but also removing just the GPS lock and have it go into clock class seven and make sure you do have that change of state all the way through your system.
One of the other things that is vitally important in looking at in a real world scenario is PTP timing.
